Holodata is maintained by Robin Pourtaud and uses YouTube API Services. Please also read the Google Privacy Policy.

What we store

We collect public YouTube channel and video identifiers, titles, handles, thumbnail and banner URLs, publication times, video durations and availability information. We keep current metadata, refresh it regularly, and remove it when unavailable or expired. There are no accounts and we do not request access to your YouTube account.

Your visit

A session cookie called holodata-privacy records your acceptance of this policy. You can remove it in your browser’s cookie controls. There is no advertising or visitor analytics. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve and protect it. Operational logs help diagnose errors.

Other websites

External links lead to websites with their own policies. After you agree, channel images load directly from YouTube’s image service. It receives your network request, including your IP address; we omit the referring page URL. A separate, expiring image cache is used for local collection work and is not published by this website. When you add a stream to the player, an official YouTube privacy-enhanced embed loads. YouTube receives your IP address and site origin, may serve advertisements, and may use cookies or similar storage during playback. Player controls remain with YouTube. Live chat is embedded from YouTube only when you select the chat control; YouTube receives that request and may use cookies or similar storage.

Questions and deletion

Use the contact options on Robin’s website for privacy questions or removal of stored channel or video information. We aim to act promptly and within seven days. Removal from Holodata does not remove information from YouTube. Public metadata is not offered as an open-data download.
